I purchased the Dazller Kreamy Kajal approximately two weeks ago, mostly due to the reason that it was not more than ₹80 and that it appeared to be a good price. I’ve used it five times. My candid assessment is that it is good at the price, although it requires practice to operate.
The first point should be light usage. A little bit produces smooth, dark, creamy lines that appear sharp. When you overdo it, it is sloppy.
What Actually Works
The cream has left your lashes shiny. It slides on without dragging, which is excellent when one is in a hurry. I tested it out at the time when I had five minutes to get out, and it did not drag or jump.
The color is strong. A single light stroke has a rich black appearance. There is no necessity to layer, as in the case of cheaper brands.
The price is unbeatable. At ₹80 it is cheaper than a cup of coffee. This is a lot to students or any other person observing money.
The Catch (And It’s Big)
The issue is the excess of using it. You will sting a great deal should it drop into your eyes.
This hurts and tears up, and you have a desire to rub your eyes. It happened to me on two occasions: the first one was when I applied excessively by my waterline, and the other one was when I smudged it as I mixed it.
The creamy texture spreads into the eye easier as compared to dry formulas, and other kajals can cause irritation as well.
The Removal Reality Check
You can’t remove it in one go. That is my biggest complaint.
I used normal face wash—almost nothing was removed. Micellar water was served, yet I had to make two attempts. Coconut oil was the best, but I needed to massage softly for 20-30 seconds before being able to dissolve it.
This will annoy you in case you want to have a 10-minute shower after a long working day. Its waterproof statement is real, and thus it does not leave whether you want it or not.

The way I use it now (after trial and error).
I now only use a light touch. I drew one tender line on my upper eyelid and perhaps a half on the lower. It appears natural, does not fade away, and does not irritate.
I did not ever hang it on the waterline. I learned that the hard way. It was found that applying kajal into the lash line allows the particles to float into the eyes.
The first thing is to use a primer as a game-changer. An inexpensive eye primer such as Maybelline also puts up a shield and is easier to remove in the future. It is also long-lasting in kajal.
To take away, have some coconut or jojoba oil. Wet a cotton pad, put it on your own closed eye, give it 10 seconds, and then wipe it. This avoids harsh rubbing.
Comparison with Competitors: How It Compares.
| Feature | Dazller Kreamy | Lakme Eyeconic | Maybelline Colossal |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price | ₹80 | ₹250 | ₹450 |
| Creaminess | Very creamy | Medium | Firm |
| Irritation Risk | Higher if overapplied | Lower | Lowest |
| Removal Ease | Needs oil | Moderate | Easier |
| Wear Time (Real) | 8-10 hours | 15+ hours | 18+ hours |
The more costly ones are longer and easier to dismantle but are 3-5 times more expensive.
Who Should Buy This?
You’ll like Dazller kajal if:
- Priority is budget (₹80 is insurmountable).
- You like light and natural application.
- And a two-step oil-based removal is fine by you.
- You have either dry or normal skin (not too oily on the lids).
Skip it if:
- Weak eyes that are apt to vexation.
- You desire one swipe with face wash.
- You require 15+ hours of waterproof wear.
- You are prone to using kajal heavily.
My Bottom Line
Five times later I will keep it in my makeup bag, though with restrictions. Apply sparingly, stay out of the waterline, and have oil nearby to take away. At ₹80, you have a good underpin, or everyday decision, when you are very low budgeted.
Lakme Eyeconic is less drama and long-wearing and costs you half the amount of ₹ 200-250. The additional price provides you with a sensation of calm: no frustration, less combative disposal, and more longevity.
In my case, Dazller works on casual days at the moment. I do not wear it on other occasions when I require kajal for 12-hour shifts or rainy days. It is good, but not so great and that is all right at this price.
Final rating: 3 out of 5. It is cheap and comes with its own limitations. Get your money worth by learning how to light-hand.
